Checklists
Overview
The Checklist tab of the Events App houses all of the items that our team collectively tackles across all departments for every event to ensure high quality and a successful event.
When navigating to this tab in the Event App, ALL tasks across all departments will populate. To ensure organization, these tasks can be easily sorted by user, department, event type, and more. To see the tasks only applicable to you, select your name, and you will only be able to see the tasks necessary for completion by you.
There are also unique views which allow everyone to be able to review their tasks in their own desired manner. To adjust your view, on the top column, you can select board, list, or calendar. After selecting the desired format, the tasks will adjust accordingly with the view selected. By default, the tasks are ordered by date. Any past due tasks will be highlighted in red to grab attention.

Director Checklist / Dashboard
How It Works Now
A director’s default event list will show:
Live events
Past events that still have incomplete checklist items assigned to the director
This means directors can continue to access recently completed events without needing to filter or archive search, as long as they still have outstanding post-event tasks to finish.
When an Event Disappears
Once all checklist items assigned to the director are marked complete, that past event will no longer appear in the default dashboard/event list.
At that point, the event can still be found by filtering for archived events, but it will no longer stay pinned in the default view.
Filter Behavior
The default dashboard view is now more action-oriented, showing only:
events that are currently live, or
past events that still require director follow-up
If a director applies an Archived filter, they can still view all past assigned events, regardless of checklist completion status.
Checklist Reporting
Use the filters to narrow results by event, assignee, category, or date range — the dashboard and tables below will update accordingly. You'll see a breakdown of completed, not completed, and late checklist items both by assignee and by event, along with visual charts summarizing overall completion and on-time vs. late trends. Note that "Completed On Time" includes any items completed up to 2 days after the selected deadline.
